Topolino beteken “klein muisie”. Die naam weerspieël ons nederige begin as ‘n klein skool met klein kindertjies. Wat klein begin het, het gegroei tot ‘n gevestigde skoolgemeenskap waar elke kind steeds persoonlik geken, geliefd en gekoester word.
Die ronde vorm van ons wapen verteenwoordig ‘n kompas. Dit simboliseer leiding, rigting en doelgerigtheid terwyl ons elke kind help om hul unieke pad in die lewe te ontdek.
Die punte op die blou ring dui die vier rigtings van ‘n kompas aan en herinner ons dat sterk waardes altyd rigting gee.
Die goue strale simboliseer die opkomende son en die belofte van nuwe geleenthede, groei en hoop wat elke nuwe dag bring.
Die kruis verteenwoordig die Christelike grondslag waarop Topolino gebou is en herinner ons om met geloof, liefde en integriteit te leef.
Die seil simboliseer vooruitgang, moed en beweging vorentoe. Vanaf Graad 1 tot Graad 7 begelei ons elke leerder op hul reis van groei en ontdekking.
Die juweel verteenwoordig die hart van ons skoolfilosofie: Elke Kind is ‘n Juweel. Elke leerder is uniek, kosbaar en geskape met besondere potensiaal.
